Summary of Application Experience
Got AMCAS in in the middle of July. Secondaries started rolling in during August. I was using the wrong email and didn't see many of the initial secondaries for at least 2-4 weeks. All 10 secondaries completed through September - Late October.
Joy took the old MCAT and scored a 28 which is in the 67th percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a 505 on the updated scale which is in the 67th percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted Joy’s section scores as follows:
Joy scored a 10 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 127 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
Joy scored a 8 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 125 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
Joy scored a 10 on the Verbal Reasoning section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 127 on the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
