Summary of Application Experience
The process is long and largely unfair. Many schools only offer you a secondary so that they can collect your application fee. Alot of people are accepted to schools that are unqualified compared to those that get turned away. Ostopathic medical schools have nicer staff, more enthusiastic students, and overall treat you more fairly than allopathic schools. Unfortuately, a large part of the interview experience is accentuating the differences between osteopathic and allopathic medicine. This is probably their achilles heel. They should focus on medicine. I only chose allopathic due to the greater choice in residencies for post graduate study.
