Brief Profile:
MCAT 34-37 sGPA = cGMA > 3.95 Because of the immigration services, I have an one-year delay in obtaining my green card. I think applying as an international student is really screwing me over... My friends with similar stats and ECs are getting interviews all over versus I was rejected by most schools I thought I had a shot for.

Email said they had made a decision and asked me to go to the portal and check.. and then it was a rejection. Might as well tell me in the email. such a waste of time since I hardly get internet at my school... Also not a big fan of the whole Catholic setting.

Since they have scheduled into late Jan/early Feb, I decided to withdraw my application. As they interview a large population of the applicants with ranging stats and ECs, I don't think they see me as a fit at this point.

I was really surprised to get an II from here. I thought it was a high reach.. Really liked the school but I'm not so happy about the Millennium Hotel I stayed at. Found roaches in my room... But I really like the student body and the curriculum at Duke. Just the entire environment made me want to go to Duke so bad. I'm getting antsy just waiting for the result till March... MMI was really fun!

First II, first acceptance! I love you UVA for recognizing me! Loved Charlottesville, the students, and the curriculum. So excited for second look day! Also just ordered a T-shirt for UVA med school...
