Summary of Experience:
Just didn't think I had what it takes to survive there. Which is prob true, didn't really like the place/atmosphere from my couple of visits.
Summary of Experience:
Did not attend interview because: New school-necessarily terrible, but Downstate has been around awhile, so it has a little bit more history, plus $$$ And I was tired of interviewing lol
Summary of Experience:
Did not attend interview. This school is super expensive for a low-mid tier school. Dstate got the price covered, that's all I need
Summary of Experience:
Had the wierdest interview here. No relevant questions were asked pertaining to my app. Interviewed lasted around 10 mins (we were at his office). No idea how i got rejected, but I wouldn't attend anyway :D
Administration seemed uninterested, student seemed so-so, area was nice but isolated.
They pretty much gave you a map, threw you on a bus and was like good luck, regarding finding your interviewer. Meh Rejection via snail mail too. Like really? You couldn't just email me that? Not sure why this school get so many applications either, maybe it's just a school that has OK requirements and everyone thinks they can prob get in.
Summary of Experience:
Really loved this school, a little disappointed about the waitlist. Granted, they are looking for a specific type of applicant to fit in their unique program and I guess I wasn't it.
Summary of Experience:
Definitely surprised I even got an interview here, so I def don't expect an acceptance...but one can dream :D
MMI was a little nerve racking but comes with the territory.
I wasn't expecting to be accepted with a such a low LizzyM but I can stomach a waitlist. Might give me false hope but i'll keep them updated just in case I have a miracle.
Summary of Experience:
Interviewer said I was a "border-line" applicant. Pretty much told me I should have studied 6 months for the MCAT, and 12hrs per day for the last 3 months.
He said if I do get in anywhere, I should start reading the books during the summer before MS1. So not surprised I was waitlisted :x
Summary of Experience:
My first II so I was super stoked and nervous. It was a one on one, and she had a list of qs that she needed to ask. She took notes as I spoke and asked me to slow down so she could get it all on paper lol. At the end of the interview she pretty much said, we definitely need more people like you here. Soo I kind of got giddy when I heard that, didn't want to think too much about it.
Then I got accepted woot! via snail mail Money is good, and they have great clinical experience
Summary of Experience:
Wasn't expecting to like this school but I did. Students seemed cool. MMI was interesting. Only thing i don't like is how far it is from the city, and the area seemed a little run down.
