Brief Profile:
First generation college student, attended Wake Forest University for undergrad and the University of South Florida for a Masters degree in Medical Sciences. I come from an underrepresented area lacking adequate medical attention and resources. I hope to be accepted and make a change for both my family as well as others. I've had a long journey and hope that my personality, determination, and perseverance can outshine my sub-par scores. I worked two jobs during undergrad and was heavily involved in the community and also worked a 30+ hour job while in my masters program. Really hoping medical schools can see past the MCAT and GPA as I don't believe they truly represent the abilities and potential of future physicians.
