Brief Profile:
1- Wasn't planning on applying this cycle due to finances, but pre-med committee encouraged me to despite it resulting in a late application 2- Could only afford to apply to a few schools due to said finances 3- Aware that my list has a few super reaches, but if this does happen to be my one shot, I'm surely not going to pre-screen myself! Won't deal with "what-if's" later.
Brief profile without giving away too much information: -Year-round collegiate athlete -Work two jobs -Some clinic volunteering -Extensive mental health volunteering with direct patient contact -Tutor -Leadership in clubs -Some research-possibly a paper but not likely -VERY strong letter from committee -Strong letter from conference director -Neutral/good letter from PI -Personal statement is apparently strong and compelling...definitely tells my story.

Summary of Application Experience
Try your best to not apply late...it nearly did me in.
With that said, don't lose hope if you aren't verified until November...it's possible you will get invites in February, March, and even April, and those can turn into acceptances! Don't think you're interviewing for the waitlist unless they expressly tell you so.
So incredibly happy I'm going to medical school!!!
