Summary of Application Experience
12/23/14: I don't even know where to begin... I am so, so, so happy to have been accepted by my top choice school on my first cycle only 3 days after my interview!! With my GPA, it was so surprising. But I am so happy and thankful.
post-bacc GPA: 4.00, 60 credits taken, ~50 at community college, 48 credits in BCPM MCAT of 34 really helped
Some of my activities: 1. Caregiver to disabled sister 2. Psychiatric ward volunteer counselor 3. Domestic Violence Advocate 4. Free Clinic Nurse, Scribe, ECG Tech 5. Chief ED Scribe 6. Mentor to struggling youth 7. Congressional Intern 8. County-wide appointee 9. FDA Researcher 10. 2 pubs, 1 poster, 2 presentations, 1 first author pub 11. Hobbies/Pastimes: Acting, piano, working out, yoga 12. Biology and Chemistry SI (like a TA) at CC 13. Medical Genetics Research Foundation - Co-Founder and Vice President 14. EMR Manager 15. Community Service group board member 17+ years ago 16. Hospital Volunteer
Just so happy and grateful. I could not have done it without the numerous people that supported me like my classmates, my awesome professors, mentors and people in my personal life, and my family. While I recognize that I absolutely could not have done it without God and so many other people, I am proud of myself and the journey I have taken and the distance I have traveled. I am truly thankful to MU's entire office of medical education and the admissions committee and confident that I will make an excellent physician for the people of Missouri. While I may seek a competitive specialty (though still very undecided -- really like psych for ex), I would like to have a private practice in rural MO and perform charity work at free clinics in the rural parts of the state.

Rush took my money, nowhere does it say that a 3.0 is a hard cutoff to even be *screened* until you pay the primary application fee. They should update their MSAR and website. I feel like this is highway robbery.
Summary of Experience:
10/14/14: Sent Update Letter on Selection for Grant-Funded Foreign Service-Learning Class Really like this school and its message. I know a ton of SLU physicians and staff, and would appreciate the chance to attend!
Summary of Experience:
I really like this school and its mission. The admissions office was nice too. 10/14/14: Sent Update Letter on Selection for Grant-Funded Foreign Service-Learning Class
Summary of Experience:
Kinda upset that I was rejected from my alma mater (went here for 3+ years before transferring). But Tulane is very stats-oriented, so I can see why they rejected me. I am bitter about the steep app fee, but w/e. I would have loved to go back to NOLA, but Tulane itself seems really obsessed with money and since tuition is so expensive I am fine with it.
Summary of Experience:
Received OOS secondary here on 9/23 and so happy about it! Since they apparently pre-screen pretty hard, this is the first positive sign I've gotten during the entire app cycle! I lived in Detroit for a few years and would love the chance to go back! Sent SL Update 10/17/14

Summary of Experience:
1/13/15: Great interview experience. Really enjoyed the school, staff, and MMI format. Dean Flynn was awesome and it seems like an awesome place to get my medical education!!
So happy surprised and elated to receive an II to UA-Phoenix - I love everything I have heard read and seen about UAPhx. I have strong IS ties having been born in AZ and living there for several years. This is an amazing program in a great city, I love Phoenix.
