Summary of Application Experience
I finally took the big step and withdrew from 5 other schools I was considering. The final decision really fell between Dartmouth, Einstein, and Tufts MD/MPH. I decided on Dartmouth, where I will have the option to do an MPH in between 3rd/4th year. I plan on taking a year off then to do an MPH at Harvard, where I can have a concentration in health policy. Looking back, I shouldn't have applied to so many schools as I did, but again, I was paranoid coming into the process and wasn't sure how far my application would carry me. However, it is better to be safe than sorry.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to interview and visit at so many different schools because it gave me a better sense of what type of environment I am looking for as a med student.
