Brief Profile:
Figured I'd make a profile after looking over the whole site for people with similar stats. As you can see I'm aiming a little high for my MCAT score, but I figure I'm better off trying than pre-rejecting myself! Starting off this application cycle I'm hopeful, but I can already tell this is going to be an emotional roller coaster of a year. I've applied as early as possible to give myself the best possible chance, though having to wait until 7/22 for my committee letter (much longer than anticipated) might have ruined that a little.
-I have a lot of research experience throughout all 4 years of my undergraduate career and all 3 summers. I've done work at Ivy League institutions and even abroad, educating rural populations about the importance of cancer tests.
-Presented at 3 national research conferences
-300+ hours of volunteering/shadowing
-Worked 20 hours a week the entire time I was a full time student
-Disadvantaged and overcame a lot of socioeconomic obstacles and family issues to even get a chance at an undergraduate education

Summary of Experience:
SO EXCITED about this II. After working here for a summer I'm thrilled to come back. Waitlisted. Kinda a bummer since I don't expect there to be much movement, but we'll see in April I guess!
Summary of Experience:
Got an II after sending an in the area request! Super excited! Love the location!! Got HPWL crossing my fingers!
Finally got off one of the countless wait lists I've been placed on this year! I really connected with Einstein at my interview, this just might be where I matriculate!
Summary of Experience:
Wow! SUNY was so nice about my in the area request and my interviewer personally changed the day to let me come while I was in NY!
My First Acceptance!! I almost ripped the letter in half!!!
