Clinical: shadowed 2 physicians, worked in the ER at a children's hospital for a semester, volunteered in South America at medical clinics.
Research: 3+ years in undergrad, summer research grant, currently employed full-time as a research assistant. Few presentations/posters.
Other: background in music (talked about this in my PS) also personal experience with illness in my family that served as inspiration.
