Hey guys, my name is Nicco!

I was extremely fortunate this cycle to have the opportunity to interview at as many schools as I did. There are so many quality medical schools out there. Here are my favorites:

Baylor, UCLA, UChicago, UPenn, UVa, Michigan, Stanford, and Cornell

I don't think I can overemphasize intuition and going with your gut when it comes to picking a medical school. There is no perfect medical school, so you have to choose the one that fits you best. The better you know yourself, the easier this process becomes.

These are the kinds of things I think about when choosing a school:

I want to go somewhere I can pursue my interests in health services research.
I want to go somewhere outside of California because I know I will grow more as a person in an unfamiliar place.
I want to go somewhere where the graduate schools are within walking distance of each other.
I want to go somewhere metropolitan.
I want to go somewhere that won't cost me an arm and a leg.
I want to go somewhere I feel supported.
I want to go somewhere with a really needy surrounding community.
I want to go somewhere I will be happy.
