Summary of Experience:
I love Hopkins! I think it is the best medical school on the planet but Baltimore but Baltimore is an issue. URM recruitment is an issue, although the students are super nice. I was awarded a merit scholarship to attend but declined.
Summary of Experience:
I will be matriculating here. Second look was phenomenal!!!! Boston is a great city and the medical school has a great URM population plus the best dual degree options (MD/MPH and MD/MPP).
Summary of Experience:
I loved Yale! Did SMDEP and BioSTEP there. I wasn't sold on there curriculum reforms. It is also a very basic science centric place and they push you to do a thesis in that area... I didn't like the thesis requirement. Didn't have many people in minority health, community health, health policy. Financial was not on par with Harvard and Hopkins. Not sold on living in New Haven for 4/5 years.
Summary of Experience:
My favorite school. My soul mate. The best social scene for a URM bar-none. Its not Harvard/Yale/Hopkins but I loved it the most.
