Summary of Application Experience
Applied pretty late despite advice from my brother (linkvein) to avoid making his same mistake.
My school choices were limited by the fact that I used AP credits to satisfy genchem and physics requirements. Overall, I think my application was solid but unexceptional, and I am happy with my results given that I had no publications at the time of application and no clinical volunteering.

Secondary Completed: No
Interview Invite: No
Interview Attended: No
Waitlisted: No

Rejected: Yes
Summary of Experience:
Didn't even get offered a secondary. Saved me some money, I guess.
Summary of Experience:
Sort of surprised I didn't get an interview (my brother is a current student and I don't think my stats are that far off from their average). Applied mostly because my mom liked the idea of my brother and I living together during med school, so I wasn't too disappointed.
Summary of Experience:
Had planned on interviewing back-to-back with Mt. Sinai but had scheduling issues. Canceled interview because I realized I'd rather go to UTSW anyway.
Summary of Experience:
Interviewed the day after I was accepted to WashU. Would have canceled the interview if I hadn't already paid for plane tickets etc. Not too surprised I got rejected - I didn't feel like I was the best fit for their program.
Summary of Experience:
Pretty surprised I got an interview here. This & WashU were my top choices, so I was bummed (but not surprised) to get rejected.
Summary of Experience:
Liked it here, though not enough to send a LOI after being told I was under "continued consideration." Offered a waitlist spot but chose not to take it.
Summary of Experience:
Did not take this very seriously as I was thinking I would rather attend UTSW. Postponed my interview from 11/30/12 to 1/11/12 so I wouldn't miss an in-class presentation. Interview day was disorganized and my faculty interviewer was rude - definitely left me with a bad impression.
Summary of Experience:
Loved the school and the people (and the price tag), but very hesitant to stay in Texas. Pre-matched early on, which was a nice safety net.
