Summary of Experience:
apparently, as a princeton molecular biology undergrad, i am not eligible to enter the department's grad school. if i were to have gone to the umdj/rwj md/phd program, it would have been for the opportunity to do my graduate training at princeton, so...there goes that.
Summary of Experience:
rejected from both MD and MSTP. hot on the heels of the stanford rejection. s'ok. baltimore=yikes. and never had a good feeling about hopkins. but still. hopkins is hopkins!
Summary of Experience:
invited to submit secondary 08/09/2012. rejected. :( the one west coast school i would've loved to have at least visited. what a biomedical powerhouse... darn.
Summary of Experience:
MSTP office is very unreceptive to emails and inquiries. Also annoying how they took so long to notify a rejection. It was rather obvious when the last interview date came and went w/o a word on their end...
Summary of Experience:
applied solely for the opportunity to do research at MD Anderson. interview scheduled for 11/01, but couldn't fly out due to hurricane sandy. rescheduled for a later date. withdrew after tri-i acceptance.
Summary of Experience:
interview date set for mid-February. withdrew after tri-i acceptance. though i would have loved to have visited seattle and the hutch, i was all interviewed-out by that point and didn't want to spend more time on the trail. :(
Summary of Experience:
never really scheduled an interview date. besides stanford and ucsf, i wasn't really up for going to school on the west coast anyways. great program, though. salk and scripps would've been amazing to see.
Summary of Experience:
very organized program. really liked it!
according to administrator there was a high chance that i would get off the waitlist. buuuut....not willing to wait with the acceptances i already have.
Summary of Experience:
first interview invite of the season! very excited. pritzker seemed kind of small and collegiate. brand new hospital was just about ready to open, but unfortunately i came a bit too early for that. too bad. looked amazing from the outside.
put on hold post-interview sometime in october. received a "still under consideration" letter from directors in late february. basically a waitlist, i would assume. withdrew.
Summary of Experience:
awesome program! one of my top choices!
down to the wire. decided to withdraw. it's the right place, but not the right time. wait for me, rockefeller/sk! got my eyes on you for postdoc training
Summary of Experience:
nice of them to waive the secondary fee for mstp applicants. southern hospitality definitely on display here! med school and research facilities a bit on the small side...
