Full-time employment in research lab, with publications and posters.
Current ECs - hospital volunteer with some shadowing, ESL tutor, crisis relationship counselor, free clinic (1X per month).
College ECs - some ESL tutoring, research, summer employment in group home, co-chair of student group.

I definitely made a lot of mistakes this cycle. First of all, I needed an extra month to write my personal statement, which pushed back my AMCAS submission date and cut into the time I'd allotted to write secondary essays. I knew secondary applications would consume significant time and energy, but still underestimated how long it would take to write them. Finally, I started submitting secondaries without all my LORs in hand.
