Summary of Experience:
Liked the school a lot more than I thought I might! The campus is gorgeous, the opportunities to learn a ton at Grady Memorial and other Emory hospitals would provide a really unique clinical experience. Would love to live in Hotlanta!
Summary of Experience:
My favorite interview day and such an incredible school. I am so impressed by their dedication to student wellness and the culture of support fostered by essentially everyone in the Vandy community. Would love to go here!
Summary of Experience:
Awesome school! The panel interview was an interesting experience, and kinda fun! Their curriculum is unique, and they have a lot of opportunities in public health/global health. Downtown Chicago was slightly overwhelming for me, but it was a fun time and I could definitely adjust to city life if I ended up here.
Summary of Experience:
Had a sort of bad experience with a student host here, but I tried not to let that influence how much I liked the interview day. My interviewers were very nice, and the school has it's own historical culture. I could be very happy here if its where I end up.
Summary of Experience:
withdrew. Loved my host, and the people here were very nice, but they didn't have a global health program and/or many opportunities in research--two things that I'm definitely looking for.
Summary of Experience:
withdrew. Loyola exceeded my expectations. Although it might not be a top research institution, administration is really trying to grow in that area and they have a great established global health program that MDs can partake in. The interviews here were some of my favorite. They were very conversational, but also made me think outside the box and asked questions that I hadn't gotten elsewhere.
Summary of Experience:
withdrew. The students here seemed very happy and liked to work together in their heavily group-based curriculum. However, the university doesn't have a global health program or institute and not many students seemed to be interested in research, which is important to me.
