// Applications //
Application Cycle One: 07/09/2012
Undergraduate college: Loyola University
Undergraduate Area of study: Biological/Life Sciences
Summary of Experience:
I sent in my application 3 weeks before it was designated complete. Apparently, the admissions team weren't downloading the files at a fast enough pace....typical Rush.. Then I realized I answered the "non-healthcare" section wrong. I read it as "healthcare." *_* Did I kill my chances at this school? (Sent a letter to the admissions office requesting if I can send updates)
Summary of Experience:
I was very surprised with this acceptance as I'm not from central or southern Illinois and throughout the interview I was under the impression that the interviewers thought my research experiences would not make me a great fit for the school. However, the interviewing experience was extremely pleasant. I really like the close-knit community at SIU. It's a shame that it is soooo far away from family and diverse restaurants like in Chicago. :( Nonetheless, if this is the only school I get into then I guess it's my calling!
Summary of Experience:
Oh so ecstatic with the acceptance! I really like this place and want to try living in Madison for a change. The only problem is SO has a great job in Chicago. :/
Summary of Experience:
Wow. What a fast turnaround after the interview!
The facilities here are definitely better than I thought (akin to Loyola's facilities). You can do your rotations in the city during 3rd and 4th year. Not much of a research emphasis here though
