Summary of Application Experience
7/20/15 - So this is my 3rd time applying. I didn't have great stats when I first applied, so I got rejected from all the schools I applied to. The 2nd time, I did a Master's program and graduated with a 3.67. I got an interview with TCOM and was waitlisted, but I got rejected. They say 3rd time's the charm, so here we go! I received file reviews, and they have told me that my grades are looking good. They did tell me that my community hours and clinical hours were lacking. So I shadowed an additional 60 hours with a DO, who wrote my recommendation letter. I am currently working at a clinic as a ophthalmic technician and am getting a lot of patient interaction and experience. This round is also the first time I am applying to out-of-state DO schools.
