Summary of Application Experience
I applied last cycle (2011-2012) with very little success: 1 interview invitation at a DO school, and no acceptance. This was likely due to my 25 P MCAT score and late primary submission (October.) This cycle, I was much better prepared, with a 31 O MCAT and June submission. As a result, I got accepted early in the cycle to my top choice, UCONN!
EarthtoneJon took the old MCAT and scored a which is in the percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a on the updated scale which is in the percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted EarthtoneJon’s section scores as follows:
EarthtoneJon scored a 9 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 125 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
EarthtoneJon scored a 12 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 129 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
EarthtoneJon scored a 10 on the Verbal Reasoning section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 127 on the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
