Brief Profile:
I am a non-trad applicant with a lower GPA than most... will update stats and specific dates for all schools if I get accepted this cycle. Trying to maintain some anonymity. Applied to a handful of top tier schools on the off-chance that my background would set me apart from the traditional applicant... ha! Wishful thinking!! I will feel incredibly fortunate to get into any MD school. I did not apply to DO schools this cycle but probably should have with my numbers.
ECs: I have a variety of clinical and non-clinical experiences, including shadowing, volunteering in a hospital and free clinic, employment, etc.; no research when I submitted.

Summary of Experience:
MAJOR reach... quickly rejected pre-secondary
Summary of Experience:
I withdrew because I have been accepted to a school that I love and I have run out of funds to interview... plus I had a late interview date and likely would have been placed on the waitlist (they are interviewing 1000+ for 100 spots).
Summary of Experience:
I was surprised by the post-interview rejection... I thought my interviews went well however there was one question that I really stumbled on, maybe that was it... Or maybe my cGPA was just too low for them. Either way I think it's OK... Cost of living here is wayyy too expensive..Maybe when I am older / semi-retired I can move to the 808.
Summary of Experience:
I really liked this school... love the atmosphere and environment, which is super supportive and geared to have its students succeed. My student interview was excellent, not so sure if my faculty interview was as good, but it was still not that bad. The building and facilities are top of the line, BRAND NEW... yes the library is quaint but it works. Love the architecture and design of the building. Not sure how much cost is yet since they are still calculating. Scranton is a nice little area - close enough to the city to get out and do things, but secluded enough to get real studying done.
Deferred~ no decision has been made yet on my file.
Waitlisted after being deferred once. I will withdraw, just wanted to see if they would accept me.
This school is looking for people from the area who want to serve the area.
Summary of Experience:
Student interview was great... faculty interview wasn't as good. They say the turnaround is only a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed.
I don't know if I could handle living in Philly though...
Summary of Experience:
(withdrawing) First acceptance!!! LOVED. And surprisingly I loved the city of Omaha. It is super cute and has history as well. The faculty/students all seem really receptive and nice, P/F, super warm environment, tons of resources for its students. The facilities are a little dated but you get to use the regular undergrad campus gym and chapel, which I think is a nice plus.
