Brief Profile:
Extracurricular Activities: I believe they are decent. Research experience: I also believe this, too, is decent. I have one paper about to be published soon, and two more further down the road. Clinical experience/ Shadowing: I wish I had logged more hours in this area, but they will have to do.
I plan to post more information after this cycle is over.

Summary of Application Experience
I wish there wasn't so much downtime involved in the application process. The waiting is brutal. And, do note that it is expensive to apply, so save up before doing so, unless mommy and daddy are wiling to help.
If there is one thing I have learned from this process, it is how much I want this. Here's hoping for a successful cycle. Before all is said and done, I will definitely have done my fair share of praying throughout this process.
Applied, Rejected
University of North Carolina
Applying for combined PhD/MSTP? No
Submitted: Yes
Secondary Completed: No
Interview Invite: No
Interview Attended: No
Waitlisted: No
Accepted: No
Rejected: Yes
Summary of Experience:
Still haven't received the secondary. The pre-screening process is brutal for OOS and just slow.
Summary of Experience:
I recently received an email that asked if I wanted to remain under consideration for the remaining interview invites as the season draws to a close, and to send a detailed explanation of my interest if I still am. Am not getting my hopes up about the chances of getting an II, but we will see.
Summary of Experience:
It is nice that BU definitely tries to expedite the application process. However, it sucks that BU was the one to give me my first rejection. I definitely liked the school. Oh, well.
Summary of Experience:
Still have yet to receive the secondary. Pre-screening process is definitely selective and seems to highly favor IS applicants. Finally received the secondary about 5 months after submitting my AMCAS. UTenn seems to consider continued interest efforts, such as email contacts, update letters, et cetera.
I withdrew after receiving my acceptance from the UVA.
Summary of Experience:
Just couldn't see myself attending. Withdrew. Probably was a mistake to do so before I had an acceptance yet. However, I was a bit cash-strapped at that point, and did not want to spend the money for airfare, a rental car, et cetera.
Summary of Experience:
It was awesome getting that interview invite from Georgetown. I would love to attend, and, though I think the interview day at Georgetown left something to be desired in some respects, still, I enjoyed it. It would be very expensive for me to attend, however.
Summary of Experience:
Was definitely not expecting the interview invite, seeing as I am OOS. It was a pleasant surprise and really enjoyed my experience interviewing at UTSW. Awesome school. Great bang for the buck.
Summary of Experience:
Was definitely surprised when I found out I was to be CAPed. I thought my interviews went well for the most part. But, we will just have to wait and see. I would love to attend this school, if I do end up being given the chance to do so.
