Summary of Application Experience
Update January 2013: App cycle has been slow to this point, and looks like my interviews will be ending next week with my Case interview. I will say that I have been disappointed to get so few interviews, and probably would've had more luck if I had applied to MSTPs instead of just MD. I called one school's admissions office where I was rejected, and the lady on the other end kindly looked over my file for 5 minutes and critiqued it... she said the glaring hole in my application was a lack of service-oriented extracurriculars.
2/2/2013: This thread on SDN really made me rage that I didn't apply disadvantaged http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=979634. I don't know how much it would've helped, but it definitely would've given me some extra space to discuss my family, my background, and why I didn't really go to a reputable college. Oh well, live and learn.
5/18/2013: Still on Case waitlist. I sent a LOI on 5/3, and I am 99% sure they already re-reviewed my file. Basically means they are not interested in me.
I need to reapp... worst year ever. I will be making a new mdapps in a few months. This profile is not really anonymous at this point.

Summary of Experience:
SR 9/12 SS 9/14 C 9/17. Wish I didn\'t spend so much time on this secondary, probably too late for an II at this point anyway. R 10/22.
Really thought I had a good secondary for this school, but oh well. I probably didn\'t have enough community service on my application to make the people there happy.
Summary of Experience:
SR 9/10 SS 9/11 C 9/11 II 9/18 IA 10/3 Great school with a very modern campus, great opportunities for clinical medicine and research. New research building opening in December 2012 which is exciting. Loved my interview day, and would be thrilled to matriculate here. The tuition alone will make UMass difficult to turn down if I am lucky enough to receive an acceptance. I felt like I had good conversations with my interviewers, so I am trying to be optimistic despite the lack of IIs from other schools. Update Letter sent 10/24 R4/29 well that's a kick in the nuts
Called for feedback 4/28, they do not provide feedback
Summary of Experience:
SR 9/7 SS 9/17 C 9/17 II 11/14 wow was not expecting an interview here. They are the best of the best. Need to make the most of this one. IA 1/3 good program WL 2/5 kinda bummed about this one. Would definitely matriculate if accepted but last year only 8 students were accepted after being put on hold. Sent an update professing my love lol but not optimistic either way. R 3/26 expected but still hurts, Called 6/4 for feedback on my application, phone interview scheduled with the dean.
