Summary of Application Experience
MCAT-August 15, 2004 AAMCAS and AACOMAS applications completed by the end of August. Recommendation letters sent by first week of October. Most secondary applications sent by second week of October.
I should have been more selective when sending my primary applications. I've decided not to spend any more money on sending secondary applications, but instead save it for the interview travel expenses.
I was extremely impressed by Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and I am looking forward to the interview at Touro. The osteopathic schools were originally my 'safety' schools, but visiting CCOM changed my mind. If I do get into both MD and DO programs, I'll have a really tough decision to make.
11/19/04-Got the phone call from CCOM! It's so nice to know I'm going somewhere...
