Summary of Application Experience
DGSOM...LA...surreal.
some advice: apply widely and get some physician LORs. Although I am not sure if lacking these aspects of my app were detrimental to my cycle, I believe they are significant contributors. I got into one of my top picks eventually, so it wasn't a complete washout, but I certainly aged a decade receiving rejections until LA came with some good news. Good luck to those who come afterwards!
Summary of Experience:
Rejection came in snail mail which I received in late September. They seem to do batches of rejections when they meet early in the cycle. Sent the Dean an emailed letter of appeal, no response. Oh well...they're loss.
