Summary of Application Experience
Struggled academically sophomore year due to a couple deaths in the family and other personal reasons but bounced back with a 3.94 cumulative average senior year. Extremely involved with the American Cancer Society (executive committee for Relay for Life as well as a volunteer in the cancer clinic in local hospitals). Have extensive teaching experience, ranging from teaching Sunday school to tutoring physics students to mentoring 9th graders regarding STIs and HIV. Hoping my strong uphill at the end of college, unique major and ethnicity (Asian & Middle East Studies, born in Syria which is super interesting right now), and dedication to ECs will help me make it through!
