Summary of Application Experience
Hello! If you are applying to medical school, I hope you will find this page useful. More useful though is Student Doctor Network ( www.studentdoctor.net ) I found it to be a great help during the interview season.
------ Some Advice ------ FINISH EVERYTHING EARLY! -I had to wait on my LORs anyway to be complete w/ AMCAS, but I did not realize that I could find and start working on the secondary essays before I was verified. I wish I had joined SDN sooner! (SDN is where you can find the secondaries) -Also, I should have started writing my personal statement earlier, as I was a bit rushed to turn it in. I considered starting it in December, but still foolishly waited until June. -when traveling for an interview, stay with a medical student the night before. It's not only cheaper (& more fun), but very helpful in getting to know about the school. -Use SDN to prep for interviews

I shouldn't have applied here. It was the one school I had really no interest in, but applied to anyway due to a small family connection (& I was trying to get close to the recommended 20 apps).
I completely forgot about it until I received the II.
