Since college, I have held a part time job in a local clinic where I work as a medical scribe taking notes for physicians inside of the room with patients. This job has helped me pile up thousands of clinical hours. I have shadowed cardiology, internal medicine, orthopedics, heart surgery, and radiology for several hundred hours. President of the pre-med club of my university. Race director for 5k that will take place in October 2012 100-150 hours of community service with club organizations. Major hobby is tutoring and teaching. I typically tutor 20-30 hours weekly when classes are in session. Classes tutored include general chem, organic, physiology, and genetics. I am also a TA for A and P labs; typically 2-3 each semester. 4 months of research in synthetic organic chemistry. Ongoing research in microbiology. No publications. Extensive literature research.
