Brief Profile:
I am 32, married with a daughter, and live in a van down by the river...not really (but I am married with a daughter). I am a retired swim coach. I was the head coach of a competitive swim team for 9 years and retired in August of 2011 to return to school and pursue medicine. Although I have had perfect grades since coming back to school (an A- in a non-science online course was the only issue) , I have been unable to undo the damage of my undergrad GPA.
Volunteer Experience: All swimming related, lots of things Research:None--hard to get when you are in school to only complete pre-med requirements in two years Work: Coaching, teaching swim lessons, private lessons Non-Coaching work: Supplemental Instruction leader for Basic Physics, currently a CNA at a local hospital
Is being a Packers Fan considered a positive for applying to Med School?

Summary of Experience:
Did not even get invited to complete a secondary. A little disappointing considering I met with the admissions counselor on 3 separate occasions and was assured that I was on the right track with my non-traditional track.
