LOR\'s:
I have read the following and they are extremely well written:
2 science professors- Organic and anatomy professors
1 MD- personal friend, had alot of shadowing with him
I haven\'t read:
1 non-science
1 work supervisor (needed for UNM)
PS:
I will post my entire personal statement after I, hopefully, get accepted. My main focus of my PS was my friend John nearly being killed by gang members in my home town. I also concentrated on my fiance and the complications that went along with her giving birth to our daughter. I shifted both of these experiences into positive situations that strongly influenced me to become a doc.
Cycle:
I submitted AACOMAS on 6/5 and was complete a week later. I received my MCAT score on 6/18 and submitted my AMCAS that day. The only reason I submitted MD apps was because I am still competitive for my state MD school (also top choice). As of 6/25 I\'m still waiting for verification through AMCAS but should be verified by the first week of July. Now I\'m concentrating on receiving and finishing secondary essays as quickly as possible.
