Summary of Experience:
Really great experience at OSU. Great facilities, lots of research, amazing hospital and really nice people. Dr. Capers is the man.
Downsides, I didn't like Columbus that much and I don't think I could every root for the buckeyes lol. I was really sick the whole day so I hope I didn't come across as sluggish during the interviews.
Deferred decision...Withdrew, cannot see myself going here over MN
Summary of Experience:
Really good interview experience. Nice facilities, good research, great location in MPLS. Faculty and med students all seemed really friendly and happy to be there. Only downside was the curriculum seemed vanilla but they score well on their boards so its a non issue. It's my state school and I would be very excited to go here.
Really enjoyed my interview. Everyone was very friendly and I got along really well with my other interviewees. The building is awesome. It is obvious they put a lot of thought into the new curriculum. Surprised by how much I liked Milwaukee. Wish I could have toured the hospitals. Little pricey but I would love to go here!
Good interview experience here, but I did have some concerns. It is farther away from chicago than I would like. There is no teaching hospital on campus, students must rotate in hospitals throughout the chicago land area. Also, there seems to be very limited research. Despite this, I would not mind attending RFU at all.
First acceptance!!!!! Booyaaa!!! So excited right now
