Summary of Application Experience
Graduated in 2010 with a bs. in chemical and biomolecular engineering worked for 2 years doing biochem bench research at harvard med
did some volunteer and service work abroad both during and after college, which tied in with my interest in global health also have quite a bit of research experience and 4 publications (though none are first author) this may or may not have helped not sure
some clinical exposure but limited since I wasn't premed in college...this possibly hurt my application
overall the mcat was the biggest weakness i think and made the year very stressful... buuut very thankful that it worked out and that i won't have to reapply
biggest advice: tailor your application and make sure the primary and secondaries are polished and written well... generic responses are not good... also don't be like me... study for the mcat and don't take it unless you are beyond ready!!
Summary of Experience:
So decided not to fill this secondary though I received an invite...wasn\'t feeling confident about getting an interview based on SDN comments on the thread haha and wanted to save $100
Summary of Experience:
First school to mark me complete! (7/31) fingers crossed :) Rejected (10/3) Very sad about this... sigh... let\'s hope I get a break from bad news this week.
Summary of Experience:
Complete 8/7 Interview Invite!! very excited but unfortunately I'll be interviewing in late February... hope that's not too late!
Just attended this interview... I loved the school but my interview was quite tough. I think I definitely could've done better... :( ... let's see how it goes at this point not lookin too good haha
Rejected: most disappointing rejection so far... really upset about this sigh
Summary of Experience:
Complete! 8/3, II 8/10 (first invite!!! SO excited)
Loved the school during the interview... very very nervously waiting for some news right now.
rejected today.... first post-interview decision so this really stings ... aah i hope it goes better for me at the other schools i visited. fingers crossed
