Looking at all the profiles on here really helped me so I figured I'd make one.
Applying to only D.O. schools so it's the AACOMAS because I'm interested in OMM. I'm older and probably won't want to sub-specialize so I feel it would be handy to have another tool in my bag of tricks.

I can't justify spending 50k per year when I have acceptances to equally/better quality (imo) schools that are cheaper.
This was a SUPER safety school and I didn\'t want to waist the $50 submitting a secondary when I already had an acceptance. Plus, I didn\'t think I would be a good fit with such strict policies anyways.
The interview was pleasant, a few questions about my application and Nova.
We went on a tour of the facilities and I must say, HPD is pretty nice! I really like that the school is in a metropolis/urban area, since I've lived in one all my life. Also, they student/fitness center is phenominal. It is absolutely huge! The bad? I would say that the HPD library is probably too small, but the main library is huge so that may make up for it, and there aren't but one or two HD tv's in the OMM room - nit picking perhaps.
Overall, I thought it was a nice school but I don't think my rankings have changed much based on today. This school didn't have any underlying costs for me since I live 30 minutes away.
It's definitely a relief to have my first acceptance!
Interview was easy but the school seemed sort of small and lacked a lot of features that I value...a cafeteria is one of them lol. Liked the area but it just isn't for me.
School was really nice and so were the students. The library and student center are in a brand new complex and have wonderful views of the skyline. The area is comprable to where I'm from so after a few weeks there I'm sure I'd be comfortable walking around.
The interview was laid back but I was overly prepared and had less pressure due to a previous acceptance so it may have been a little intense for someone who wasn't ready.
A lot of cute girls there and in interview group was a big plus, too - lol.
Sent in my deposit and signed my life away. This is where I will be attending!
