To anyone going through this process, good luck! If you are getting to ready to apply soon, be sure to apply early, and if you have similar stats to me (high MCAT/low GPA), the only advice I can give is to have NO expectations. Admissions committees may cut you some slack or may be mildly interested in your story, but probably not. If you have some time before applying, make sure you pad your GPA. I didn't, thinking I was being noble or something... but seriously, take plenty of easy classes and don't overextend yourself. You won't get any credit for merely surviving.
