Summary of Application Experience
in the end, i chose arizona because of cost (although a couple other schools were cheaper because of scholarship offers), spanish, weather, proximity to family, laid-back and friendly environment, and because it just felt like a happy place to spend four years on my interview day. definitely not the highest ranked school i was accepted to (it's actually one of the lowest, i think), but i learned through the interviewing process that that doesn't mean a whole lot. i think choosing the school at which you personally can be the most successful is the most important, and if your debt will exceed $500,000 post-residency (here's looking at you georgetown and boston), cross them off of your list if you're given a cheaper option.
hopefully i still agree with that in four years...

Summary of Experience:
withdrew. accepted elsewhere.
Summary of Experience:
withdrew. added this school a few days before their deadline which was a big mistake. if they'd offered me an interview a few months earlier i would have loved to attend.
Summary of Experience:
rejected. thought my interview went well and really liked the school. was told that the fact that i did not highlight any ties to the state was my downfall. i had none to highlight.
Summary of Experience:
withdrew. this is the only school that i possibly would have chosen over arizona or utsa, but i wasn't taken off the wait-list before classes started. no regrets because i'm thrilled with the school i'll be attending, but this was a great place.
Summary of Experience:
withdrew. was my favorite school, but i can't justify the difference in cost over san antonio. my tuition at san antonio is half the cost of renting an apartment in boston.
Summary of Experience:
accepted. san antonio and arizona are the two schools i most wanted to attend because of cost, spanish, and a few other external factors, and this acceptance really makes for a difficult decision. i have two weeks to decide.
Summary of Experience:
accepted. i loved burlington, but the school is expensive and far from family. doesn't really have the opportunities/resources to make it worth the sacrifices. withdrew.
