I am a non-traditional applicant that worked in inner-city Los Angeles between graduation and medical school. Fluent in Spanish, I look forward to someday serving the underserved both domestically and abroad. I enjoy traveling (especially to Latin America), am interested in health care systems within the developing world, and I enjoy dancing as a hobby.

I took a chance by only applying to two schools but it worked out well. I look forward to matriculating at Western and working with the surrounding Latin American population. I feel truly blessed to be entering osteopathic medicine and look forward to a career of healing.
