Summary of Experience:
AMAZING! Completely blown away by resources, faculty, and the students! Only downside is location of Hyde Park. If I attend, will definitely live downtown (Streeterville is a nicer area).
Summary of Experience:
California - enough said. Students I met - even the interviewees - were probably the chillest cohort of students I have ever met. Cool kids + amazing hospitals (especially Reagan) + beautiful weather. What\'s not to love?
Summary of Experience:
IN LOVE! Definitely one of my top choices. Only 1.5 years before rotations. That extra 6 months of rotations seems to help a lot with Step 1 scores (apparently they have the highest). Students were very relaxed. Definitely the best interview day experience, involving clicker questions, getting to try out the simulation center (go to use a defibrillator!) - very interactive. Also, I <3 Philly.
Summary of Experience:
In love! Yale System rocks! No rank, no AOA, all tests are anonymous - there is no way to distinguish yourself, which takes a lot of the stress out of med school. Guaranteed an MD once accepted. Fingers crossed!
Summary of Experience:
Love from my alma mater! Great especially if I want to do cancer research (Sloan Kettering across the street). Can\'t beat location in NYC. NY-Presbyterian is also a great teaching hospital and the Hospital for Special Surgery is ranked #1
Summary of Experience:
Sweet hospitals and great part of NY (lower east side). With Langone, Tisch, Bellevue, and Manhattan VA, would get a range of different hospital experiences. Interviewer was dry and hadn\'t read my application, which was lame.
