Brief Profile:
So I have a crappy GPA, \"oh. that\'s...nice\" mcat, and good volunteering, and 6 (yes. six) letters of awesomeness.
Everything I did in no particular order:
Volunteered at a non-profit school for muslim youth throughout my undergrad. Did construction, tutored biology, etc. ~5 years. Letter.
Shadowed a D.O and procured a letter from him - 60 hours
Research - 2 years (at least 1000 hours), publication, letter
Ethnomusicology certificate - did some classes, went to some concerts, wrote a few pages, got a letter from an incredible professor.
Hospital volunteering - 80 hours over 7 months.
The last two letters I got were from sci profs at my school.
GPA: Had no direction nor care first two years and I screwed up my schedule so I had to take gchem year 2, ochem year 3, physics year4. Stayed for another quarter year 5, then took mcat.
MCAT: I\'m embarrassed of my score. I was averaging 34 on my practice exams. Finding out I got a 29 left me depressed for about 2 weeks. I studied for 4 months, for at least 8 hours a day. No breaks. and then a 29. :(
got a bunch of interviews. can\'t argue with that lol

Summary of Experience:
The most ridiculous confusing LOR requirements. They list that you need a letter from your school\'s dean or administration saying you were in good standing. So I asked my undergrad to send one. My undergrad then called this school and they said \"oh that letter is only required if you\'re a non-trad\".......
