Brief Profile:
3 years of research, one publication, one award-winning presentation at a conference Medical mission trip Some shadowing (not a ton) Lots of varied volunteer work, mostly clinical with a little non-clinical as well VP of three clubs
I'll make this a lot more specific once my application cycle is complete :)
Summary of Experience:
Still holding out hope, would love to live in RVA for four more years and this was the kindest group of students I encountered on the interview trail
Summary of Experience:
Loved loved loved this place; location is great and diverse, students have endless global health and research opportunities, and they all seemed genuinely happy there
Summary of Experience:
Love the idea of living in DC, but it would have been way more expensive than some of my current options, and I would also never choose a non-P/F school now that I hold acceptances to P/F schools.
Summary of Experience:
Withdrawing from the waitlist because I really don't want to be in the guinea pig year for the new curriculum, especially after hearing from one of my interviewers about how much he loves the old curriculum and thinks making the switch is a bad idea.
Summary of Experience:
Great school but would have been quite a bit more expensive than some of my current options, and I'm not crazy about living in middle-of-nowhere PA for four years either, so withdrawing.
Summary of Experience:
The location of this school is great but unfortunately that's about all the good I can say about it. It just seemed really run down and I couldn't see myself meshing well with the students there
Summary of Experience:
I like that this school is in Brooklyn but I got the sense that the students here are way more high-strung and competitive than what I'm looking for
Summary of Experience:
FIRST ACCEPTANCE!!!! So stoked :D However, I did have a weird feeling while I was there that it might not be the place for me, so compared to other acceptances, this might not be the one.
