Summary of Application Experience
Non-trad
I was originally an art major at a design school in Southern California. Being involved with my father\'s healthcare encouraged me to change to medicine at the age of 25.
ECs: 6 months of research in cell culturing, no publications 1 semester of volunteering at a domestic abuse center 1 semester of clinical volunteering (ongoing)
Several jobs, but most notably in the film industry as a cameraman, cinematographer and assistant editor. 1 year of study abroad in Japan (certificate of conversational fluency)
Kind of disappointed with my MCAT score, but my wife and I had a baby this summer and so I was only able to study for about 4 weeks so I\'ll take what I can get I guess.
Will finish updating this whole thing after finals...
Summary of Experience:
Around the middle of November I got this status: \"*Your initial review is complete. We ask for your continued patience as we proceed with the interview status decision process, which will conclude by March 1st.\"
Summary of Experience:
I\'m not sure if in giving me a secondary they were being really nice or really mean. I really didn\'t think I deserved a secondary and I\'m just basically counting down until I get one of those nice rejection emails.
