Summary of Application Experience
All schools listed were MSTP applications only (MD PhD), with research focus in biomedical engineering (Brain-Machine Interfaces, Neuroprosthetics, or Imaging).
Neuroscience research for 1.5 years, Biological Physics research for 1 year by time of graduation for Honors Thesis.
Primary EMT with Brown University EMS, 12 hours / week.
Summary of Experience:
I got super sick the night before the second day of interviews, and I think I looked asocial and unpleasant as a result. I ended up spending the week right after interviews in bed. I liked the school a lot so that\'s a shame, but I guess I don\'t mind not living in Baltimore.
Algid took the old MCAT and scored a which is in the percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a on the updated scale which is in the percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted Algid’s section scores as follows:
Algid scored a 15 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 132 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
Algid scored a 14 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 132 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
Algid scored a 11 on the Verbal Reasoning section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 129 on the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
