Brief Profile:
Lots of community service, lots of shadowing. 2.5 years of basic science research, but no publications or awards. I\'m a pretty personable guy...

Undergraduate college: Ivy League
Undergraduate Area of study: Biological/Life Sciences
Summary of Experience:
Dartmouth was wonderful. Hanover\'s small, but nice (and close to lots of skiing and rock climbing). Dartmouth Hitchcock is amazing. I\'m not sure whether the diaspora of rotations is a plus or a minus. All the students were happy and had lots of school spirit. Interviews were relaxed.
Summary of Experience:
I liked Mt. Sinai\'s balance of community outreach (East Harlem\'s right there) and excellent research. The housing seems pretty awesome. The students seem unbelievably happy and relaxed -they don\'t mind being called \"Camp Sinai\" -maybe that\'s what happens when you don\'t condense the pre-clinical years. Interviews were friendly, as usual...
Summary of Experience:
Yale\'s wonderful. Really intense research focus, epitomized by the required thesis. The Yale System is extremely favorably reviewed by the students. A small class size(100ish) appears to lead to a very tight student-faculty interaction, perhaps contributing to Yale\'s incredibly strong match list via high-quality letters of recommendation.
Looks like this will be my last interview. Let\'s go, Yale!
Summary of Experience:
Crossing my fingers for Penn. Probably the best interview day so far. Friendly students, great hospitals, good location, condensed pre-clinical years, and a ridiculous match list...
Summary of Experience:
Bellevue seems like an excellent place to be a medical student, NYU\'s location is great, the students are happy... Interview was a touch awkward. Condensed pre-clinical years is a plus.
Summary of Experience:
Shouldn\'t be, but I\'m somewhat devastated to be wait-listed by Brown -I felt like I was a perfect fit for the philosophy of the school... I\'d really love to go here. We\'ll see how things work out...
Summary of Experience:
First acceptance! Super exciting. Burlington is great, and Fletcher Allen seems like a very nice hospital to spend time in. Perhaps doesn\'t have the diversity of hospital settings seen elsewhere, and though most students were very happy, there was less unanimity on than other places... The interview was not just relaxed, but very nice.
Summary of Experience:
Strongest social mission of any school I\'ve interviewed at... worst financial aid. I absolutely loved my interview. The students seemed happy enough. The whole place was a tad bit lackluster, though. Oh no, has my undergrad made me a snob?
SUPER EXCITED TO BE ACCEPTED HERE!!!!! It\'s a great boost after not having heard anything from schools in a long time. Accepted by phone call with follow up email.
