Summary of Application Experience
So I was well behind the curve when it came to timeliness. I took my MCAT for the first time in mid-June. By the time I got the scores it was mid-July and I wasn\'t happy with my score. So I signed up to retake them in early September and thus my application was not complete until November. That\'s three whole months behind anyone who is top of their $#!t. This was a huge disadvantage and as a result I got rejected by schools that even considered to be safety schools. It came down to Cornell and Yale because they don\'t have rolling admissions and UIC because they have a lot of seats to fill. All I have to say is \"Thank god for Yale!!!\" The morale of the story is APPLY EARLY.
Summary of Experience:
I was frustrated by the people in the admissions office and their inability to answer my questions. Not to mention that it was almost impossible to contact them because they do not post any contact information on their admissions website.
