Summary of Application Experience
Applied 2 cycles ago in September to approximately 15 schools. I was really directionless and foolish in my school-selection. 3 interviews, 1 waitlist, 0 acceptances. I\'m hoping for success this cycle.
2011-2012 Cycle: -Applying to 9 MD and 9 DO programs. I just need one acceptance.
*One of the MD programs is located outside of the US and does not participate in AMCAS (Ben Gurion University--Medical School for International Health). (Interviewed in 2010) --Application complete 9/25/2011 Interview Invite: 10/11/2011 Interview: Thanksgiving
Summary of Experience:
II: I called for an update and was told I would receive an interview invitation for early January. I: Very impressed with the school, very economic as well- would go here in a heartbeat. WL: Over the phone after submitting my first semester grades. Rough.
The acceptance letter comes in a smaller envelop than most bills. I\'m just glad it came. My interview took less than 10 minutes--If I wasn\'t accepted I would be more than a bit confused.
