Summary of Application Experience
As of end of January I have been accepted to five schools, U of A Tcson and Phoenix, OHSU, CU, UW. I also interviewed and was rejected by Mayo and waiting to hear from UCI. ... Pretty good season. I feel like I had a realistic set of schools and the outcome was much what I expected. The Mayo invite was a surprise, as was being ignord by several middle of the road schools - USC, Creighton. But that is why we apply to several schools. I am lucky to have some good options including in state tuition at UW and the possibility of in state tuition at other schools depending on how my state funds WICHE this year. With that funding OHSU and CU both appeal. I loved Portland, though was not impressed by the students I met. At CU the students and facilities impressed me. ... But UW probably makes yhe most sense for me.
Summary of Experience:
I liked the feel of the campus and the ultrasound program seemed cool. I also liked my fellow applicants ... A friendly bunch. Near my family, but not ideal for my husband\'s career.
Summary of Experience:
On hold ... Interview day was good. Rochester is dull. ... Update ... Rejected. Oh well. Probably should not have mentioned pro choice activism to a Southern Baptist interviewer. Family was voting against Rochester anyway, though the program I know is great.
Summary of Experience:
Liked CU a lot. Nice feel and really nice and happy seeming students. There is a chance i could get in state costs through WICHE ... Only way i could swing it.
