    Summary of Application Experience

Have applied to 23 colleges at the moment. being in a quarter school, the transcript will not be sent until June 21st. Hopefully verification will not take that long (Historically, has been around 1-2nd week of July)
Also, applied to 5 D.O. schools just for the heck of it! Extremely imperative to improve that verbal score now!
    __________________________________________________________________________________________

4/9/11: took my MCAT..it was okay! lets hope for the best!
5/10/11 (4pm): Aah, darn you, verbal..I should have seen this coming. It really sucks having English as your second language. Did decent in the others though 6 Verbal, 11 PS, 8 BS= 25Q
5/10/11 (7pm): New MCAT date! July 29th it is!
6/4/11: Sent my application to 5 D.O. schools
6/12/11: Phewww..submitted my application to 23 schools, with only 1 reach school. Need to play it safe!
6/16/11: First secondaries of the season! Excited yet confused as to how to balance time with MCAT prep
6/16/11: Received an email that the transcript has been completed by the university
6/18/11: I could get used to waking at 6 and being at library from 7am to 9pm! Gotta get get!
6/19/11: Have been using EK method for verbal. Already seeing a bit of difference in the results as compared to Kaplan. Hope this goes on for a while!
6/23/11: Received an email from AACOMAS that my applicaiton has been returned due to some BS transcript issues. I have even indicated on my application that since my school is a quarter school, WAIT..oh well! My transcript was sent out a week ago, still no word either from AMCAS or AACOMAS. but again, both are running a little behind the schedule. Let\'s see! Studying up real good for MCAT as well- I can clearly see the difference while preparing with a full time load and tons of things going on and right now; no classes, no friends (since its summer), so hoping for the best, preparing for better than the best!
6/23/2011: Received an email from AMCAS that they had received my transcript on 6/20!
6/24/11: AACOMAS verified my application! :)
7/1/11: AACOMAS sent my info to all 5 D.O. schools
7/14/11: AMCAS verified! waiting for secondaries pour now! :D. So my sequence is:
App submitted: 6/12 transcript received: 6/23 Verified: 7/14
8/30/11: New score!! Really happy for this one! A net 6 points increase!
