Brief Profile:
Worked for a little over a year after graduate school (3.50 graduate GPA; mostly hard sciences), with unique life experiences that I made sure to highlight through the Most Meaningful Experiences / personal statement. Otherwise, the rest of my app is similar to many other pre-meds, with a few years of clinical volunteering and neuroscience research.

Summary of Application Experience
It's hard to say that after all the hard work/effort, it comes down to luck. But, looking back, I've been very lucky in my experiences and people that I've met, and they've shaped who I am today. I was very candid on my application and during my interviews, and hoped that the school(s) would see me as a fit as much as I wanted to find a fit for myself. In the end, I can say I'm very happy with how this has turned out - stay positive, and good luck to anyone looking at this!

Summary of Experience:
Really enjoyed interview day here! Clearly a very relaxed/happy student body, and the faculty/resources are great.
Update post-acceptance: I was torn between this school and OUWB (thus leaving it on waitlist til the very end). See posts on SDN on why I ended up choosing OUWB.
Summary of Experience:
This was a not-so-hard decision in the end. Although VCU had many highlights: a relaxed student body, great resources (i.e. Costanzo at VCU), it came down to more subjective things like my gut feeling, location preference and whatnot. This is a great school but did not end up as my top choice!
Summary of Experience:
Loved, loved, loved this school. It was "tied" with GWU before I attended the interview, but I left knowing that this was the perfect fit for me. I'm very lucky to have my top choice accept me, and also give me a hefty scholarship!
