Summary of Experience:
Haven\'t heard a thing. I don\'t expect to either... I\'ve heard it isn\'t a great program for teaching. It is a good research university.
Summary of Experience:
Haven\\\'t heard a peep from Stritch. I\\\'m going to contact soon and try to send updates. The interview season has to be wrapping up soon. My stats probably don\'t measure up to what the admissions committee is looking for. I take master\'s in public health courses at the campus. It is a big campus with a sort of industrial feel. Maywood isn\'t exactly a dream location. I\'m not upset that I won\'t be going here. I shouldn\'t have wasted my money on the application.
Summary of Experience:
I had good interviews. I liked the campus and students and faculty seem nice. I still would like to visit the Carbondale campus. The cost of tuition is significantly lower here than at other private schools. However, the whole PBL thing seems different and I think it will take a lot of discipline to get a quality education. The students I talked to seem to like it.
3/8/2011: On the AWPA! Heard from EW after e-mailing him to check up. The letter is in the mail. Hoping for an acceptance later in March when the committee meets. If that doesn\'t happen I hope I have a good rank and that I hear back by May.
Summary of Experience:
I had a terrible interview. It was my first one of the application season. It was a three person panel and it felt like an interrogation. I didn\'t really like the campus either. I think this school gets a TON of applicants since it is near Chicago and its pretty well-known.
Summary of Experience:
I really liked KCOM. Great facilities and faculty and students seem genuine and laid back. I appreciate the rich history of this school (founding school of osteopathic medicine in 1892). I think this school is big on OMM because of its history.
