Summary of Application Experience
Definitely did better than I expected, especially since I had pretty average stats (for matriculants anyway). Goes to show a good MCAT and varied ECs can take you far. Some tips: Take out a loan for MCAT Prep and application time. I don\'t believe I\'l have done as well on the MCAT without the Kaplan material (though if I could do it again I\'d get the online stuff only and not the lecture course) Also applications are beastly. Cost is $130 for the first school for AMCAS and $30 for each additional school you add. Also, each secondary costs $75 to $100, so you\'ll likely be paying well over $2500 in total if you apply broadly. My last tip is no matter what, don\'t get discouraged. The process is very random and you never know how well you\'ll do until you apply. Do the best you can in your undergraduate work, and whatever the results turn out, be proud of your hard work. Best of luck to all applicants.
Summary of Experience:
Not sure what happened here. They turned me down just 2 weeks after. Just goes to show you can never be too sure in this process.
