    -PhD program, so definitely getting some research :). MS so far with some non 1st author conf & journal papers
    -undergrad 3 summers of research, 1conference attended w/ poster

    -ugrad - had a couple of offices in things, no \'I started a chapter of X here\' stuff, camp riding instructor 1 summer
    -at my 2nd volunteer barn I\'m often in charge of newer volunteers, showing the ropes and being the safety marshall
    -TA for 2 years during PhD program

    -ugrad varsity riding 4yrs (riding since I was 8ish, still ride now when I get a chance at my 2nd volunteer barn)
    -flute (on my own, not part of an organized group, just to relax)
    -art (since i was a kid, and currently part of a community arts group that does several one night shows around town each year)
    -running (couldn\'t run a half mile a few years ago, first half marathon last spring, amazing how something that makes me so crazy can eventually become something I really enjoy!)

    -ugrad - got a national merit scholarship, PES, AED, PBK
    -one of our research posters got a conference award at a clinical conference
    -national arts program award for a painting

    -MCAT - ~500 (study materials, 4 AAMC full lengths, and the exam itself)
    -Prereqs - ~1200 (I tested out of English Comp, took Lit in a foreign language, 1termbio only, so taking these at CC)
