Ha! It was worth a try lol.
Summary of Experience:
I was offered a pretty late interview in March or something, and by that time I had already gotten into one of my top choices so I withdrew.
Summary of Experience:
Mayo was AWESOME! I especially loved the curriculum, the administration, and the support system there. The class size is very small (42 MD students), which was a downside for me. Also I\'m a city girl, so Rochester was no bueno for me either. But all in all I left my interview thinking this was the med school for me. I was very disappointed when I was waitlisted. I actually shed a tear.
Summary of Experience:
Yale interview day was very disappointing. I got the \"we\'re all that \'cause we\'re Yale and we don\'t have to impress you\" vibe. Also, minority students VERY lacking (only 3 black students in students in the first year class...bummer). But to be honest, the school does speak for itself. It\'ll be hard to turn this one down if accepted.
Summary of Experience:
So I actually had one of the most racist interviews-- if not one of the most racist experiences-- in my life at Cornell. Easy to say I will NOT be going here.
Withdrew from wait list because I simply was not interested in attending.
Summary of Experience:
Emory is cool. Pretty campus. Liked the curriculum. Students were awesome, too. My interviews went well so I thought I was definitely gonna get accepted but I got waitlisted. A little disappointed but LIFE.
Summary of Experience:
I thought Pitt was so-so when I interviewed, but I LOVED Pitt during revisit weekend. I am so impressed with Pitt\'s recruitment of minority students, as well as their support of them. However, with recent changes in financial aid, they offered me absolutely no FA. So I very sadly had to withdraw. I definitely would\'ve gone here if it weren\'t for $$$.
Summary of Experience:
Mount Sinai = great school. I personally love the location (NYC, harlem/upper east side border), liked the faculty, administration, and the students were ok. I actually thought the school was quite homogeneous, which was disappointing. All in all, I\'d be quite happy to attend.
